Why I Love Amazon (Prime)
I love Amazon Prime.![]()
The one drag about shopping online is that there is no instant gratification. You have to wait and wait for your product to arrive (unless it's a digital download - but we're talking about physical products here).

MovableType Blogging is Possible From the iPhone
One thing I wondered about in the weeks prior to the release of the iPhone was whether or not blogging through MovableType would be possible or not. Well, now that I have my iPhone I can confirm that it is possible. The experience is not that bad actually. And I'm sure that it will ultimately lead to my becoming a better typer on the iPhone keyboard.AskMe: Answers to recent Questions

ALERT *NEW EBAY SPOOF EMAIL* ALERT
In a previous tutorial (Citibank Phisher Scheme) I talked about spoof emails and
phisher schemes and what you could do to avoid them. This morning (March 12, 2005) I fell for an eBay related phisher scheme. As you can probably imagine I started to panic the minute I realized what I had done.
In this tutorial I'll show you what you can do if you find yourself in the same predicament.

For those who use iTunes as their jukebox (and if you don't then you seriously need to check it out - here) there is a free sampler album that is available for download. The album, entitled iTunes New Music Sampler (Atlantic/Lava Edition) contains 16 songs from various artists, none of which I've ever heard of. But with creative names like Death Cab for Cutie, Louis XIV and Porcupine Tree, you know it has to be good.

First Look - Google Video Search
Google - the search king - constantly innovates. Yesterday on the Google Blog, Google Product Manager
John Piscitello announced that they were launching the Beta Version of Google Video. According to the release, Google Video "is a new product that enables you to search an index of transcripts from recent TV programs."
I decided to take Google Video for a test drive today and while it is still an early beta with information for a limited number of channels (dating back to Dec. 2004) it certainly does show some promise.

What's everyone looking at?
Ever feel like you've gotten into a rut? Sometimes it seems like you get into a routine

I can't help feeling there has to be more to the internet than that. Right? Right? Is this thing on?

Firefox 1.0 - The Internet Explorer Killer?
On November 9, 2004, Mozilla released the 1.0 version of their lean and mean Firefox browser.
There have been rumblings that Firefox and other browsers may be taking market share away from Internet Explorer (IE), albiet at a slow rate. The question is not whether the 1.0 release of Firefox has eclipsed IE, but by how much?

O-R-I-O-L-E-S
As an Orioles fan that lives about 200 miles from Camden Yards, I only get to the park about 2 or 3 times a year. Since I don't live close enough to Baltimore, my cable company doesn't carry the station that shows Orioles games. What is a die-hard fan to do? (Especially with the revamped lineup?)
